@001MeTaBoLiC100 People are always buying and selling calls and puts on every possible stock. It's nothing for you to get nervous about. When your money is on the? line, be nervous. Be very afraid, not nervous. So do plenty of research first. Options are NOT simple. They're extremely complicated.

@001MeTaBoLiC100 No space for a complete explanation. A call is a bet the stock's price will go up. A put is a bet a? stock's price will go down. People are always making money -- and losing money -- on options. They are NOT for amateurs. They are NOT a get rich quick scheme. Try Options as a Strategic Investment by Lawrence G. McMillan and L. G. McMillan to start. If it's too much for you, consider yourself lucky you learned before you lost big money.

Can someone please? explain to me the put and call options contracts. I have no idea what this means. I am watching AAPL drop significantly and people are making thousands of dollars from this. The more it drops the more money people are making.
